About the Role

The Funding Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate funding of solar projects by managing loan, lease, and incentive documentation from install completion through final funding. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams, lenders, utilities, and customers to keep projects moving smoothly and cash flowing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end funding process for solar projects after installation completion

  • Prepare, review, and submit funding packages to lenders and financing partners

  • Verify documentation accuracy, including contracts, completion certificates, inspections, PTO, and system details

  • Track project milestones and funding status across multiple platforms and lenders

  • Communicate with internal teams (sales, operations, install, permitting) to resolve missing or incorrect items

  • Coordinate with lenders to address stipulations, deficiencies, or funding delays

  • Ensure compliance with lender, utility, and program requirements

  • Maintain accurate records and notes in CRM and funding systems

  • Meet funding timelines and performance SLAs

  • Identify process improvements to increase funding speed and accuracy

Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

  • Ability to manage high volumes of projects simultaneously
