Solar Sales & Install Expert

Company Overview


We are a Utah- and Nevada-based emerging technology start-up company seeking an experienced Solar Sales & Install Expert to support the development, construction, and operation of advanced data storage, and data mining facilities. Our company has developed a technology that increases the efficiency of Solar Operations from 8% to 12%.  Our proprietary technology is designed to reduce energy consumption requirements for large-scale data storage and mining operations by approximately 10%–50%.

The company is currently finalizing partnership agreements with nationally recognized commercial developers for the construction of an initial two facilities ranging from 10 MW to 100 MW, with planned expansion capacity exceeding 2 GW.

Position Summary

The Solar Sales & Installation Expert will be responsible for supporting the design, sales, deployment, and optimization of commercial and utility-scale solar energy systems that support advanced data center, data storage, AI computing, and cryptocurrency mining operations. This role combines technical solar expertise, project development experience, customer engagement, and installation oversight to maximize energy production, system reliability, and return on investment.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial and industrial solar sales, project development, installation management, and utility coordination. The successful candidate will help drive the company's solar infrastructure strategy while supporting large-scale energy projects ranging from 10 MW to 100 MW and future gigawatt-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

·  Lead sales efforts for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar energy projects.

·  Identify and develop relationships with prospective customers, developers, utilities, and strategic partners.

·  Conduct solar feasibility assessments, site evaluations, and production analyses.

·  Prepare project proposals, financial models, and return-on-investment calculations.

·  Manage the design and installation process for solar photovoltaic systems.

·  Coordinate with engineers, contractors, utilities, permitting agencies, and project stakeholders.

·  Oversee installation teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

·  Support procurement and vendor selection for solar modules, inverters, racking systems, and electrical equipment.

·  Monitor system performance and recommend operational improvements.

·  Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.

·  Assist with utility interconnection applications and permitting requirements.

·  Evaluate emerging solar technologies and energy storage solutions.

·  Support integration of solar generation with data center and mining infrastructure.

·  Participate in strategic planning for large-scale energy and infrastructure expansion projects.

·  Provide technical expertise during customer presentations, investor meetings, and partnership discussions.

·  Assist executive leadership with energy planning and long-term sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

·  Minimum 5–10 years of experience in commercial or utility-scale solar sales, installation, or project development.

·  Proven track record of successfully selling and deploying solar energy systems.

·  Strong understanding of photovoltaic system design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

·  Experience with commercial, industrial, or utility-scale solar projects.

·  Knowledge of solar production modeling, energy economics, and project financing.

·  Familiarity with electrical systems, utility interconnections, and permitting processes.

·  Experience managing subcontractors, installation crews, and project schedules.

·  Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

·  Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·  Proficiency with solar design and modeling software preferred.
