Job Summary

Are you passionate about renewable energy and excited by complex, multi-stakeholder projects? As a Project Manager for New Construction at Resonant Energy, you'll be at the forefront of integrating solar technology with new building development, working directly with internal teams, architects, general contractors, and clients to bring clean energy visions to life, on time and on budget.

What You'll Do:

You'll manage multiple solar projects from design through commissioning, serving as the critical link between our clients' construction teams and our solar installation partners. Your day-to-day will include coordinating solar array layouts with architectural plans, consulting on equipment placement and sizing, and ensuring seamless integration with building construction schedules. You'll negotiate agreements, manage budgets and timelines, and guide projects through permitting and utility interconnection processes.

Your Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

  • Deliver multiple solar projects on-time and within budget through seamless coordination with many internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure solar installations are optimally integrated with building construction schedules and layouts, preventing delays and design conflicts
  • Maintain efficient project momentum through proactive problem-solving and stakeholder accountability
  • Execute agreements and partnerships that support reliable project delivery and company reputation
  • Transition projects smoothly from sales to construction while preserving client commitments and budget alignment

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships as the primary point of contact, ensuring positive client experience throughout project delivery
  • Resolve routine concerns independently while managing expectations across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Enhance company reputation through strong partnerships with architects, general contractors, and installation teams

Documentation & Financial Management

  • Support accurate company financial planning through reliable project budget tracking and timeline management

Education, Experience & Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable industry experience or relevant vocational training given equal weight
  • 5+ years in professional environment managing multiple concurrent technical projects or 3+ years managing technical projects paired with 1+ year solar development or building construction experience
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings (could come from architecture, property management, construction management, engineering, or related fields)
  • Experience with utilities, renewable energy, clean tech, permitting, construction management, and/or regulatory compliance
  • Client-facing or account management experience with demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage expectations
  • Preferred:
    • Direct solar project development or construction management experience
    • Experience on construction sites and familiarity with OSHA compliance
    • Experience with submitting RFPs and competitive bidding
    • Experience with project estimation, budgeting, and cash flow management
    • NABCEP Associate (or higher) certification
    • PMP certification

Working Environment & Conditions

Work Environment 

  • This role primarily works in a standard, temperature controlled office environment on the second floor of a building with an elevator

Compensation & Benefits Package

Compensation

  • Total Compensation: $77,500 - $105,000
  • Base Salary: $77,500 - $95,000
  • Performance Bonus: Up to $10,000 annually
