This role will collaborate with our sales and engineering teams and hold direct oversight of all planning, procurement, and vendor management to deliver a seamless installation process for clients from project handoff to commissioning and closeout. Projects typically include rooftop, carport, and ground-mount systems interconnected at the customer meter and coordinated closely with customers, utilities, AHJs, engineers, and construction teams. This role does not include residential or utility-scale projects and requires direct experience managing complex commercial solar and energy storage projects, live electrical systems, and customer-facing project delivery. This role may also include project management of commercial EV charging and lighting projects.

1. Project Execution & Delivery

  • Manage multiple concurrent commercial projects from handoff through NTP, construction, PTO, and final closeout
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within contractual scope and margin targets

2. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building owners, property managers, and off-takers

5 Financial & Contract Management

  • Track project costs, approve invoices, and manage change order pricing
  • Support contract review and ensure adherence to customer agreements, PPAs, or EPC contracts
  • Assist with project closeout documentation, as-built drawings, and O&M handoff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial, behind-the-meter solar and energy storage projects
  • Experience with commercial EV charging and lighting projects preferred

  • Ability to read plansets, blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, customer-facing projects, and a large portfolio of nation-wide construction projects
  • Knowledge in aspects of construction and project management including quoting, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, vendor management, and project documentation
  • Knowledge of project documentation (project meetings, contracts, change orders, etc.)
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, SiteTracker, and/or other similar software applications
  • Strong sense of urgency in dealing with client issues
  • Effective client negotiation and follow-up skills
