Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Location: Wendell, NC
Employment: Temp to Hire
Industry: Manufacturing
Compensation: $20.86/hr.
Schedule: 40 hours/week - 2nd shift. 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Please note: training will be done on 1st shift for a couple of days prior to being moved to the 2nd shift
About the Opportunity:
  • An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers and Solar Inverters.

What You'll Do:
  • Perform sub assembly wiring and final assembly wiring work to the highest level of accuracy and workmanship.
  • Work with large power cables including correct method of crimping connectors.
  • Perform proper stripping and crimping techniques.
  • Assemble components on panels per given layout or drawings.

What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience performing mechanical assembly (build) of product.
  • 1+ years of experience with commercial or industry wiring.
  • 1+ years of experience working with standard hand and power tools both pneumatic and battery operated and wiring tools such as hand crimpers, wire strippers, and accurately reading a tape measure.
  • 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly experience with material handling.

  • Associate Degree.
  • Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists with minimal to no supervision.
  • Must be a strong team player.
  • Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continually improve the intended outcomes of the Management System.
  • Possess some knowledge on electrical clearances.
  • A broad knowledge base across related systems and equipment.
