Pay: $55,000 - 65,000/year + Overtime + Stock OptionsTravel: 1-2 weeks per month, up to 50%The Role

Join our Field Operations team and help keep communities safe by installing and maintaining camera and solar infrastructure. As a growing multi-product company, this role now spans both new installations and ongoing maintenance across a wide variety of sites, equipment, and customer environments. You’ll work hands-on in the field, adapt to dynamic schedules, and see the impact of your work every day.

What You’ll Do
  • Install, maintain, and service poles, solar panels, batteries, and camera systems across diverse customer sites

  • Install poles of varying lengths per specifications, including digging post holes a minimum of Mount solar panels and external batteries; install and align LPR cameras with PTZ technology

  • Perform both installations and maintenance (approximately 50/50 split)

  • Work on public and private roadways, frequently on equipment 10–12 feet high

  • Use ladders and bucket trucks to safely work at heights of up to 30 feet

  • Use power and hand tools; repair minor breaks in underground irrigation or private wiring

  • Drive company vehicles and tow small trailers; support DFR (Drone as First Responder) units and mobile security trailers

  • Meet with customers to perform site surveys and discuss installation options

  • Interpret traffic control plans and permit drawings to identify compliant installation locations

  • Track inventory, receive shipments, and submit installation photos and updates via the Flock Field mobile app

  • Perform all work in a safe, professional, and compliant manner

  • Adapt to dynamic scheduling, often with 2–3 days’ notice

Travel Expectations

This position requires a 50% travel commitment, typically consisting of 1–2 weeks of travel per month. You should expect to be in the field Monday through Friday, with the occasional Saturday required for travel or project completion.

What We’re Looking For
  • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and working outdoors

  • Experience in construction, electrical, low-voltage wiring, or similar hands-on roles preferred

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools and equipment

  • Ability to work independently across varying job types and environments

  • Comfortable driving vans and trucks and towing small trailers
    (Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license)

  • Basic computer and mobile app skills; willingness to learn new technology

  • Flexible, dependable, and adaptable to changing priorities
