We're expanding across the Quad Cities and seeking driven professionals who are ready to grow with us.

Position Summary:

We're hiring a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to drive HVAC sales and manage installation projects from start to finish. This role handles customer consultations, sales proposals, and project oversight-serving as the main point of contact from the first meeting through final system delivery. The ideal candidate combines technical HVAC knowledge with strong sales and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Customer Engagement:
    Prospect new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and inbound leads. Respond quickly to inquiries and build long-term relationships with homeowners.
  • In-Home Consultations:
    Conduct site visits to assess HVAC needs, system requirements, and home conditions. Understand the customer's comfort goals and budget.
  • Proposal Development & Quoting:
    Create professional proposals and present at least three options that align with customer preferences. Highlight system features, energy efficiency, and financing opportunities. Use ServiceTitan to document all proposals and maintain your sales pipeline.
  • Sales Closing & Contracting:
    Negotiate terms and guide customers through contracts, financing, warranties, and membership programs. Strive to meet and exceed personal and team sales goals.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Coordinate with install teams, dispatch, and office staff to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to install. Maintain clear communication throughout the project. Assisting Service Manager and training technicians to upsell.
  • Product Knowledge & Learning:
    Stay current on all HVAC products, warranties, rebates, and codes. Attend training and manufacturer sessions to maintain knowledge and improve sales performance.
  • Customer Experience & Satisfaction:
    Maintain a clean vehicle, dress professionally, arrive on time, and follow up after installations to ensure 5-star customer service. Handle any post-install issues and earn referrals through service excellence.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Close rate of 60% or higher
  • Present 3+ options during every sales opportunity
  • Upsell Rate (smart thermostats, humidifiers, air scrubbers, etc.): 25%

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven sales experience in HVAC or similar industry (preferred)
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stay organized
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or CRM systems is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
