You'll help drive the transition to clean energy by designing and delivering innovative solar PV and electrical solutions for a diverse range of projects. You'll apply your technical expertise to develop high-performance renewable energy systems, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and guide projects from concept through construction. What You'll Do:
  • Design and coordinate commercial, institutional, and utility-scale solar PV and electrical systems, from feasibility through construction documentation.
  • Develop and manage Revit and AutoCAD models, electrical layouts, system calculations, and interdisciplinary coordination to support successful project delivery.
  • Partner with clients, utilities, contractors, and internal teams to navigate permitting, interconnection requirements, and construction support.
What You Bring:
  • Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred) and minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, building systems design, or solar PV design.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design principles, including power distribution, solar PV systems, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Proven ability to lead technical coordination, solve complex design challenges, and deliver high-quality renewable energy projects in a collaborative environment.

The rate for this position generally ranges between $45 to 55 hourly. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law.
