Job description

Bridge Energy Services (BES) is seeking an Energy Data Analyst with educational or work experience with energy and utilities data. Analyst will provide service and analytical excellence to internal and external stakeholders with the end goal to help clients reduce energy spend, consumption, emissions and risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze energy market and customer trends to identify savings and risk opportunities.

  • Model and report performance on various on-site generation technologies such as fuel cells, solar, linear generators, etc.

  • Formulate client presentations and regular account updates and provide necessary analysis for client deliverables to include commodity bid analysis and recommendations, client budgets, and variance analysis and other custom reports.

  • Proactively support, manage, and steward consulting and procurement client accounts. Respond to calls, email inquiries, and questions related to the energy market, strategy, and risk.

  • Conduct market analysis of the: external environment, competitive trends, regulatory changes and product/service innovations. Relay opportunity to Customer in terms that can be understood by Client.

  • Stay abreast of competition and changes and fluctuations in energy markets by reading publications, energy new sites, and attending meeting.

  • Resolves client issues by developing and presenting solutions and recommendations

  • Deliver quality client service by following through on deliverables and communicating with clients on those deliverables.

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in: energy, business, finance, accounting, sciences, engineering, math, statistics or other related degrees

  • A passion for learning and interest in the energy sector

  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated

  • Ability to communicate via phone, email, and in-person

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • Hard working with willingness to learn and take direction

  • Attention to detail
