Job description

We're seeking team members who enjoy machine operations and an industrial setting. Do you love working with your hands? We're hiring and excited to meet you! We are seeking team members to produce welded components for our customers using robotic welding and mig welding equipment and processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Use robotic welding equipment and a mig welding process to complete repair-type welds on product as a final step. Team members will rotate between loading/unloading parts into robotic weld fixtures, mig welding critical points, and completing inspection and finishing steps.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others as assigned.

  • Performs the following processes: Fixture set-ups and operation, buffing, spot welding, operating special welding fixtures, mig welding, load jigs, packing, deburring, sorting and reworking parts.
  • Set-up jigs and fixtures by making adjustments in fixture and equipment used in producing product.
  • Operates equipment using efficient procedures to ensure meeting production standards uses the necessary measuring tools to ensure required quality standards are met.
  • Keeps all required records and maintains a clean work area.
  • Follows all verbal and written instructions pertaining to the operation of dies and equipment as well as any other jobs to which he/she may be assigned.
  • Help other operators as needed.
  • Performs all duties in a safe manner.

Schedule:*

1st shift 6:00AM - 4:30PM Monday to Thursday

3rd shift 7:00PM - 5:30AM Monday to Thursday overnight. $1.50/hr. shift premium*

Weekend Days 6:00AM - 6:00PM Friday to Sunday. $3.00/hr. shift premium*

* this is a start up; hours is subject to change with notice.


Pay Range: $20.50 – 23.25/hour

Experienced welders who pass the mig welding test with us will be hired as Welders. Pay starts at $22.50/hr. and up. Those with no welding training will be provided paid training and then may test up into higher pay rate. Weld trainees start at $20.50/hr.



Qualifications

  • Ability to work open shift and overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and experience with this
  • Able to work in environment where welding (flash lighting) occurs.

Preferred:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Experience in manufacturing, including: MIG welding equipment, setting up/running welding equipment, some adjustments and programming experience, performing quality inspections on parts produced, blueprint reading
