We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team at Independent Living Systems (ILS). ILS, along with its affiliated health plans known as Florida Community Care and Florida Complete Care, is committed to promoting a higher quality of life and maximizing independence for all vulnerable populations.

About the Role:

As a Software Engineer you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that improve patient care and streamline healthcare operations. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare delivery by creating reliable, secure, and scalable applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including healthcare professionals, data scientists, and product managers to understand complex healthcare requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The role demands a strong commitment to quality, compliance with healthcare regulations, and continuous improvement to meet evolving industry standards. Ultimately, your contributions will help enhance patient & member outcomes and support the mission of providing accessible and high-quality healthcare services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET/C#, .NET Core, SQL, JavaScript programming languages required, Angular, Node and/or Typescript (not required, but would be a plus).
  • Experience with scripting languages and HTML5 for web-based interfaces or automation.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop secure and compliant software solutions in regulated environments.
