What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on business goals, technical direction and long-term strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the development team.
  • Contribute to the development of the strategic ecommerce plan; combine existing expertise in sales, marketing, technology, and management to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers.
  • Manage the overall user experience, including site navigation, content development in conjunction with the marketing team, checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns.
  • Closely monitor plan performance and drive any necessary changes to meet or exceed targets.
  • Be knowledgeable of and report on industry trends, ensuring the company’s technology stack is modern and scalable.
  • Manage third-party IT Help Desk relationship.
  • Manage budgets for software development teams and allocate resources appropriately to meet project and business needs.
  • Understanding cybersecurity protocols and best practices.
  • Make key architectural and technical decisions for product development.


What We Are Seeking

  • Demonstrated experience in software engineering, including progressive leadership or management responsibilities.
  • Experience with PHP development, Symfony (Shopware), and WordPress/WooCommerce is highly desirable.
  • Experience with the following technologies and platforms is a plus:
    • Cloudflare
    • Klaviyo integrations
    • Figma
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute technology strategies, including cloud infrastructure and software architecture initiatives.
  • Knowledge of budget management, project roadmaps, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, documentation, training, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reports.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, and results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and embraces innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
