You'll inspect equipment for proper operation, identify developing issues before they become major repairs, and help customers keep their systems operating safely and efficiently.This position provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen your technical skills while building a long-term career in the HVAC industry.Work ScheduleMonday-Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PMOccasional overtime may be required during peak heating and cooling seasons.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systemsInspect equipment for proper operation, safety, and energy efficiencyClean indoor and outdoor coils, replace filters, and complete seasonal maintenance proceduresIdentify worn or damaged components and communicate findings to the Service ManagerAccurately document maintenance visits using company softwareMaintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work areaDeliver professional customer service on every service callFollow all company safety policies and industry best practicesContinue developing technical skills through company training and manufacturer educationRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDValid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving recordCompletion of an accredited HVAC trade school programEPA Universal CertificationMinimum of 6 months of hands-on HVAC experience through employment, apprenticeship, internship, maintenance, or installation workStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityExcellent communication and customer service skillsDependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to continue learningAbility to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and HVAC testing equipmentAbility to lift up to 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditionsPreferred QualificationsOne year of residential HVAC maintenance or installation experienceExperience servicing gas furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumpsFamiliarity with electrical troubleshooting and refrigeration fundamentalsBasic understanding of airflow, static pressure, and HVAC controlsExperience using digital service software or mobile work order applicationsNATE Ready-to-Work Certification or additional HVAC certificationsWhy Join Bridger Heating & Cooling?At Bridger Heating & Cooling, we're committed to helping technicians build successful, long-term careers.
