Position Summary

CVS Shared Services Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Hartford, CT: Sr. Analyst, Software Development Engineer to Develop and maintain software applications that support the organization's business objectives by writing code, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure consistent and lawful products. Duties include: provide technical guidance and leadership to junior software development engineers by mentoring, reviewing code, and ensuring that best practices and established procedures are followed; collaborate with software development engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget parameters; coordinate with executive-level management, senior individual contributors, and stakeholders to gather and document customer requirements for software solutions and applications; design and architect software solutions that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable by leveraging software design patterns and architecture principles that drive continuous improvement and organizational advancement; create and execute test plans, ensuring that code is tested, validated, and software application quality meets organizational standards and required regulations; monitor and maintain software application performance by troubleshooting issues, providing technical support to end-users, and ensuring that applications operate smoothly; identify areas for improvement in software applications and processes, implement changes that drive efficiency and productivity and align with the organization's goals and critical deliverables; and drive innovation and improve software application quality by remaining abreast of emerging technologies and software development trends.

Hybrid position: remote work permitted but must live within commuting distance of designated office location and remain available to report to office as needed and required. Multiple positions.

Required Qualifications
Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, DevOps, or Java; Java, XML, JSON, HTML, or CSS; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Spring Boot, React, jQuery, or Bootstrap; REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs; Docker or Kubernetes; JIRA, Rally or Confluence; SQL programming; Software development lifecycle (SDLC); Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; and Domain support for healthcare or retail organization.

Pay Range: $114733.00/year to $158620.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
