Job description

The Hampton Roads Market of Bryant & Stratton College is accepting applications for a Test Center Coordinator (PT).
Position Summary:
The Test Center Coordinator is responsible for entrance, placement, and proficiency testing administration and coordination resulting in an efficiently run center to meet the College's requirements to support compliance and customer service standards.
Essential Job Function and Responsibilities:
  • Administer entrance and proficiency tests for all programs, including Accuplacer and TEAS, and record results.
  • Coordinate testing schedule with admissions and faculty and ensure backup personnel as needed.
  • Provide data entry of testing results and generate reports reflecting testing results and trends using Banner, Excel, and other software.
  • Provide back-up support to registrar for identified tasks.
  • Support and participate in campus events, and complete other duties as assigned to expected standards.

Minimum Qualifications/Competencies Required:
  • Associate's degree preferred. Bachelors degree a plus.
  • College admission testing experience helpful.
  • Exceptional customer service and ability to solve problems required.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and comfort with learning new systems.
  • Experience with Banner or other related student information systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, identify and report on trends, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and build and promote strong relationships with students, faculty, and associates in all departments.
  • Ability to meet multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
