Job description

Role: contract to hire, SDET will convert between 6 and 12 months to permanent

Location: Irving, Texas, hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote

Work Authorization: must be USC/GC, no H4

Rate: $55 per hour W2 Conversion salary $105-$115K base plus all benefits and profit share.

Interviews: 2 interviews, first virtual interview then onsite, will consider candidates outside of DFW but they will have to be willing to interview onsite for the final interview.

Open to candidates with Java background as it is very close to C# but they will be tested on C#.

NOTE - Please do not submit QA automation candiadates only need True SDET experience.

Description:

Seeking an energetic and talented Software Development Engineer in Test to support our development teams in delivering high quality software. The SDET Engineer will work closely with program managers, product owners, and scrum teams to ensure that quality processes and automations are prioritized and implemented properly.
Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain automation tests written in C# for client-server applications.
  • Work collaboratively with scrum teams and product owners to identify test cases to automate.
  • Coordinate with scrum teams to report test failures.
  • Communicate test progress, results, testing metrics and issues to key stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing work to continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years in a QA automation role.
  • Experience working in an agile environment. (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with various teams and management group.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, including use of research, analysis and expertise to develop creative, innovative solutions.
  • Must have experience with:

o Object-oriented programming using C# in Visual Studio IDE.

o Test automation frameworks. (such as WinAppDriver, TestStack White, Selenium)

o Test case and build management tools. (preferably TFS)

o Version control systems. (preferably Git or TFVS)

o SQL Server. (complex joins, inserts, updates)
• Nice-to-have experience with:

o Automated testing of client-server applications.

o API testing.

o Wholesale distribution industry.
