Description

SAIC is currently seeking a Production Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting numerous government programs as a Supply Chain Specialist throughout the program life cycle. The incumbent will utilize standard MS Office software and customized ERP software to ensure efficient parts sourcing, ordering, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Parts Sourcing and Ordering:

  • Coordinate the sourcing and ordering of parts, ensuring all procurement activities comply with SAIC policies and contractual requirements.
  • Utilize MS Office software and customized ERP software to manage procurement processes.

Material Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze material data to ensure that necessary materials are available to support development, production, and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of material availability and usage.
  • Supply Issue Coordination and Resolution:
  • Coordinate and resolve supply issues to support products in both development and sustainment phases.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to address and resolve supply chain challenges.

Program Status Meetings:

  • Attend all program status meetings and present any issues related to the supply chain.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on supply chain status to program managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in supply chain management or a related role. Additional years of experience can be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software and experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience in a procurement/material coordinator/project analyst type role.
  • Ability to work nicely within a small team of strong-willed individuals.
  • Ability to stay extremely organized with a high sense of urgency.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
