Job description

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to work in the sales and customer service department. This is a full-time, permanent remote that is based in Canada.

Our client is a start-up fin-tech software company which enables consumers and wealth management firms to navigate the world of digital assets and transaction of digital assets on behalf of your clients.

This role is for an established sales executive to lead sales in the Canadian market and manage overall sales efforts for allocated partners and prospective clients.

Responsible For:

  • Developing, managing and successful execution of revenue targets per channel.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to achieve targets.
  • Lead detailed presentations, proposals and following through from pitch to close.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling the end of end sales pipeline (initial contact, demo, POC, closing, etc)
  • Initiating new leads through events, emails, and cold calling activities.
  • Qualifying new opportunities and moving them through the sales cycle
  • Meeting with prospects to understand requirements and assist with proposal preparation.
  • Converting those prospects to customers through a solid sales process
  • Relationship building with the channel partners to nurture the account leading to a sale.
  • Representing the company at various events and / or business meetings for promotion.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have minimum 10 years sales experience in enterprise level, financial software sales
  • MBA Degree in Business or Masters in Computer Engineering or relevant field is preferred
  • Positive, collaborative and constructive a true team player.
  • Past experience in selling financial software sales is mandatory
  • Past experience in Channel partner management with system integrators is mandatory
  • Past experience in financial services and/or crypto currency software sales is desirable.
  • Expertise in a variety of sales techniques, processes and principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
