We're looking for someone who enjoys digging into problems, asks great questions, and is committed to delivering exceptional quality.
What You'll Do
As a Software Quality Assurance Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our software, mobile applications, and electronic security products meet the highest standards before they reach our customers. You'll work alongside Product Managers, Software Developers, and Hardware Engineers to identify issues, improve product performance, and help deliver reliable, innovative solutions.
In this role, you will:

  • Execute functional, regression, performance, usability, and acceptance testing.
  • Develop, review, and update detailed test plans.
  • Document test results and accurately report defects using bug-tracking software.
  • Reproduce customer-reported issues and verify software fixes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
  • Participate in project handoff meetings and provide testing updates.
  • Help improve testing processes and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience.
  • Degree in a technology-related field (preferred but not required).
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong critical thinking, investigative, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Analytical, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and expanding your skills.

Why Join DMP?
At DMP, you'll be more than just another employee-you'll be part of a company with a 51-year history of innovation, stability, and industry leadership. As we invest in our future and continue to grow, you'll have the opportunity to grow alongside us while working on products that help protect homes, businesses, schools, and communities across the country.
If you're naturally curious, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in delivering high-quality work, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
