Acting as a key link between corporate Quality programs and ICS operations, you will lead a global team of Quality Engineers and serve as the primary interface with regulators, customers, and internal stakeholders. The goal is to drive consistent compliance, a strong nuclear safety culture, and continuous improvement across ICS.
You will report to the Sr. Director of ICS QEHSO and will be based out of our Warrendale, PA location, though other Westinghouse locations will be considered. This is a mobile position that is required on site 2-3 days per week.

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure supplier and vendor quality oversight, including qualification, surveillance, issue resolution, and performance improvement
  • Own ICS participation in regulatory, licensing, customer, and certification activities, including preparation, interface, and follow-up actions
  • Lead the Corrective Action Program (CAP) for ICS, including issue screening, prioritization, trend analysis, and effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Establish and maintain quality metrics, trend reporting, and dashboards (e.g., CAP trends, audit results) to drive risk visibility and continuous improvement
  • Plan, coordinate, and support internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits, ensuring readiness, execution support, and closure of findings
  • Ensure execution of self-assessments and quality program reviews to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Govern certification and qualification programs applicable to ICS quality activities, including tester certifications and calibration program oversight
  • Quality Governance & Representation: Provide quality and CI representation in ICS development programs.
  • Serve as ICS Quality advocate in Westinghouse governance processes. This includes LOA reviews and development project stage gates, ensuring quality considerations (e.g., regulatory compliance, design for reliability, supplier quality, etc.) are addressed in early project phases.
  • Provide oversight of Software Quality Assurance, ensuring appropriate governance, resourcing, and alignment with Westinghouse software quality requirements through dedicated or matrixed resources
  • Lead and develop a global team of Quality Engineers, setting priorities, building capability, and ensuring consistent execution across regions
  • Promote a strong quality and nuclear safety culture, reinforcing accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the ICS organization

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated leadership of enterprise Quality Assurance programs in regulated, engineering-intensive environments
  • Working knowledge of nuclear and industrial quality standards (e.g., QMS-A, NQA-1, ISO 9001 / ISO 19443) and their practical application
  • Experience governing and executing corrective action programs, including issue screening, causal analysis, trending, and effectiveness reviews
  • Experience leading internal, supplier, customer, and regulatory audits, including audit preparation, execution support, and closure
  • Strong partnership skills across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Licensing functions
  • Experience developing and leading quality engineering teams; setting priorities and building capability
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and software quality assurance concepts to provide governance and oversight
