Project Manager – ICI Construction

Southwestern Ontario


An established and highly respected General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This organization has built a strong reputation throughout Southwestern Ontario by delivering high-quality institutional, commercial, industrial, and municipal projects while fostering long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects from pre-construction through closeout and thrives in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment.


The Opportunity


Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee multiple construction projects valued between $15 million and $20 million, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


You will work closely with owners, consultants, site teams, and subcontractors while maintaining the level of professionalism and communication expected on complex ICI construction projects.


Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from award through completion and warranty.
  • Lead both Stipulated Sum and Construction Management projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Coordinate consultants, architects, engineers, owners, and municipal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and administer subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
  • Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and monthly reporting.
  • Support and mentor Project Coordinators and collaborate closely with Site Superintendents.
  • Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners throughout Southwestern Ontario.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of Project Management experience with an Ontario General Contractor.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering ICI projects valued between $15M and $20M.
  • Strong understanding of both Stipulated Sum and Construction Management delivery models.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and project controls.
  • Well-established network of subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and industry contacts throughout Southwestern Ontario.
  • Strong understanding of local building practices, municipalities, and permitting processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining exceptional client service.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-standard construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or equivalent).
