About The Role
RPMGlobal is seeking an experienced Software Implementation Project Manager to oversee RPM enterprise software implementation projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for the operational oversight of the full project life cycle, including oversight of project team members, technical specifications, and resources, to ensure that RPM projects are executed efficiently and effectively.


The Project Manager role will be based out of the RPM Calgary operations. International and domestic travel will be a requirement of this role.


The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple enterprise software implementation projects and experience working closely with multiple business units. Experience or exposure to software implementations within the mining industry would be highly regarded.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the project life cycle, including scope, time, cost, quality, risk, stakeholder, integration, and closure.
  • Provide proactive project leadership to the combined project team.
  • Develop Project Plans, Resourcing plans, Project Cash Flow Summaries, and Project Reporting.
  • Design and implement robust project governance structure with RPM clients.
  • Ensure teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively.
  • Track project progress, risks, and issues, and oversee accurate project reporting.
  • Manage development of project requirements, scope, change management, issues, and project risks to include mitigations and recovery plans.
  • Represent RPM's interests at Steering Committee level.
  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring the management and escalation of any project items in accordance with project expectations.
  • Participate in client services or technical configuration reviews.

About You

  • You must have a proven track record in project managing the implementation of enterprise applications, preferably within the mining industry.
  • You must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in English.
    Strong customer relationship management skills in complex business environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills.
  • PMP Certification or relevant Project Management Qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
