Job description

Job Summary:
Artisan Millworks LLC is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Custom Cabinet Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of custom cabinetry projects from start to finish. This individual will serve as the critical link between clients, design teams, production, and installers, ensuring each project meets our high standards of quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
 
 
Pay Rate: $35.00/HR - $55.00/HR 
Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay 
Job Location: On-Site 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage custom cabinet projects from initial client consultation through final installation.

  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, clarify details, and manage expectations.

  • Interpret and review blueprints, CAD drawings, and shop drawings to ensure accurate builds.

  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, fabricators, and installers to ensure seamless workflows.

  • Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.

  • Order necessary materials, hardware, and specialty items; track and manage deliveries.

  • Conduct site visits for measurements, progress tracking, and quality control.

  • Identify and proactively resolve issues or delays that arise during the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to align on specifications and timelines.

  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and client specifications.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, CAD drawings, and architectural plans.

Educations and Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cabinetry, woodworking, construction project management, or a related industry.

  • Experience with custom cabinetry or millwork projects strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with cabinet design software is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull more than 150 lbs.

  • Capable of standing, walking, moving, climbing, squatting or kneeling for extended periods.

  • Comfortable conducting job site visits and taking field measurements.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site travel.

  • Ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., forklift and cranes).
