Job description

Student Nurse Intern

The Student Nurse Intern (SNI) performs delegated routine predictable patient care tasks under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The SNI is accountable to the delivery of safe, compassionate, evidence-based care. This role will assist with clinical and administrative tasks, which are delegated and assigned by the RN. The Student Nurse Intern will perform delegated support functions and patient care duties that are within the scope of practice for unlicensed assistive personnel. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to Patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.

Qualifications:

  • Proof of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Enrollment as a full-time nursing student, who has successfully completed the Junior year (as defined by the school)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
