Job description

As a part of the Software Operations Department, the Developer will be a post-sales technical resource responsible for implementing our versatile proprietary warehouse management software solutions for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Review all user specifications and manage the deployment of the Easy WMS at the customer's site
  • Analyze and understand the needs of the customer as it relates to picking, kitting, shipping, inventory, cross-docking, and warehousing in general
  • Design and write the technical specifications, configuring the software to the particular needs of the project, programming on our own platform using C# and Linq
  • Validate the WMS system with the client, providing extensive on-site training to the customer post-implementation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients in order to modify the solution when necessary or to provide further training.
  • Troubleshoot problems and work tickets as they come up during software implementation or any after-sale incidents.
  • Travel in furtherance of responsibilities to various customer sites across the USA.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL is preferred
  • Knowledge of administration of database system management primarily Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL is preferred
  • Knowledge of .Net platform, especially C# or any other object-related languages is preferred
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time, working in our Melrose Park, IL corporate office the remainder of the time
  • Fluency in Spanish is valued
