What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking an Industrial Engineering Senior Consultant who will support the delivery of modeling and simulation solutions, recommendations for continuous improvement and operational excellence, and an implementation plan to close process gaps for various manufacturing processes. You will work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver tools and strategies for optimizing industrial processes. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes at the value stream level, process constraints and strategies to mitigate, and optimization technologies for addressing those constraints, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD securityclearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • FIVE (5) years + of experience related to Industrial Engineering or general engineering discipline


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with value stream mapping of manufacturing processes

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with analysis of current and future state of industrial manufacturing processes and developing plan for closing gaps

  • Knowledge of discrete event simulation and supporting software (Simio, Arena, FlexSim, etc.)
