Job description

CO-OP PROGRAM FORMAT:

This co-op program will follow an in-person model. Co-ops will be based at Chrysler Technology Center (CTC) or other facility in the Metro Detroit area and are expected to work on-site 5 days per week during work rotations. Co-ops will rotate aligned with the Kettering University co-op schedule. Applications are accepted year-round, and co-op cohorts start on a quarterly basis in and co-ops are intended to stay in the program until graduation.

STELLANTIS CO-OP PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

The co-op program offers a unique alternative to traditional internships by providing co-ops with the opportunity to work year-round throughout their academic journey. This continuous engagement allows co-ops to apply their classroom learning in real-world settings on a daily basis, fostering deeper integration within their teams and organizations. As they progress through the program, co-ops are empowered to take on increasing levels of responsibility, gaining valuable experience, and making meaningful contributions along the way.

Co-ops will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background and skill set. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the co-op to provide valuable contributions. DEPARTMENT DETAILS:

Join Stellantis Product Development & Technology (PDT) as a Kettering University Co-Op and be part of a global organization driving the future of mobility. PDT is responsible for- the design, development, validation, and delivery of innovative vehicle systems, software, and technologies across the Stellantis portfolio.

Co-ops are assigned to teams based on their academic background, interests, and skill sets. Assignments are project oriented-, meaningful to the business, and designed to allow coops to make real contributions while gaining -hands-on- experience in a professional engineering and technology environment.

Throughout the program, co-ops will:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Earned high school diploma, GED, or higher degree by June 2026
  • Must be attending or accepted to attend Kettering University in the Co-op program
  • Academic focus in Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Data/Analytics, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
