Job description

Job Summary:
Global Force USA is seeking a Software Engineer to maintain and enhance their software deployment processes. The role involves developing microservices, APIs, and UI components while participating in Agile activities and ensuring system reliability and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and perform the continuous integration and continuous delivery using GIT for version control, GitLab for code repository and pipeline management and IBM’s UCD for software deployment.
• Develop Spring Boot Microservices with microservice architecture using REST and Apache Kafka.
• Develop API for using AWS Lambda to manage the servers and run the code in the AWS.
• Develop data power authentication package based on internal proxy configuration and TCP/IP model and perform verification on incoming certificate requests to ensure they are incompliance with baseline requirements for SSL certificates.
• Facilitate and perform defect and root cause analysis of system issues. Assist in providing the technical guidance for business partners during requirements gathering, design, and implementation.
• Create the validation documents and playbooks for production validation in preparation for releases. Identify issues from a technical perspective that may impact availability and/or user experience. Participate in Agile activities.
• Maintenance of Linux servers for continuous integration testing (CIT) of IEN (Intelligent Edge Network) application using SSH to connect to CIT boxes and bash command line inter-face to navigate within the Linux server.
• Design and develop UI using HTML, CSS, Angular, jQuery, AJAX and JSON.
• Develop REST API services and infrastructure using Java, WAS 8.5 and JAXB, and convert the JSON responses into XML. Create automated tests for backend services using Junit, Postman and ReadyAPI.
• Troubleshoot the network and proxy issues in QA and Production environments.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Developer or Analysts engaged in cloud computing infrastructure and application development platforms.
• Must have 1 year experience using SpringBoot microservices, REST, AWS, HTML, CSS, Angular, jQuery, AJAX and JSON.
• Must be willing to work at unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
• 50% travel required.
