Position Summary

We're seeking a motivated and curious Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Purpose Financial. Job Responsibility
  • Develop and maintain software applications following established coding standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement features and resolve bugs, demonstrating our "Get Sh*t done" principle
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Assist in the creation of technical documentation to support the development lifecycles
  • Work within cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and contribute to solutions that "Obsess over Customers"
  • Learn and apply new technologies and methodologies to continuously improve your technical skills
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team planning and estimation
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of existing systems and applications
Education Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Experience Required
  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in a professional environment
  • 3+ years experiencewith Frontend frameworks (Vue, React, Angular)
  • 2+ years of Java development, preferably with Spring Boot
  • 2+ years experiencewith RESTful API design and implementation
  • 1+ years working with cloud services — AWS isrequired (Lambda, EC2, S3 experience expected)
