About the role

As a civil engineer/project manager you will report to a principal of the firm and participate in a diverse and dynamic portfolio of projects, many of which involve innovative designs for environmentally sensitive areas. This role is based in Marietta, Georgia.

Your Impact

You will work on a wide variety of assignments that may include solid waste management, stormwater systems, environmental compliance and permitting, remediation, and water and wastewater systems.

Typical day
  • Act as project manager to support our Marietta, Georgia, office’s engineering projects
  • Prepare permits, and engineering design specs
  • Write technical reports and specifications
  • Perform construction engineering inspection and documentation services
  • Conduct environmental field work as needed, such as monitoring, sampling, inspections, and assessments

Required skills and qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering, with 5+ years of experience
  • Professional Engineer’s license, or willingness to obtain
  • Project management experience, and construction experience
  • Engineering design experience, including site grading, stormwater management, pump and piping systems, and drafting of technical reports and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD software
  • Experience with local, state, and federal permitting
  • Effective oral and written communication skills are essential
