Job description

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Software Engineer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Rockville, MD.
Responsibilities :
  • Review and analyze software/hardware configurations for specific environments
  • Create and maintain product builds and development/test code baselines
  • Recommend enhancements to configuration management systems, build processes, and delivery systems
  • Troubleshoot technical problems
  • Communicate solutions effectively to team members
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Interface with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with customer expectations
    • Document and report status updates, including metrics
    • Provide informal mentoring to junior staff on project-level tasks
  • Process & Compliance
    • Participate in internal process improvement initiatives
    • Provide feedback and suggestions on processes
    • Adhere to technology policies and comply with security controls
    • Ensure all work products meet/exceed standards
