Embedded Software Engineer(MATLAB) โ€“ Utilities Team

Location: Peoria, IL

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70K โ€“ $75K per year

Onsite role

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong C programming skills
  • Experience with Python scripting and software development
  • Understanding of embedded software systems and development workflows
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink model-based development concepts
  • Understanding of auto-generated embedded code structures
  • Debugging and troubleshooting experience in embedded environments
  • Knowledge of software integration and validation processes

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with M scripting (MATLAB scripting)
  • Familiarity with embedded control systems or ECU/ECM environments
  • Exposure to software automation tools and utilities development
  • Experience working with model-based development workflows

Education & Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
