  • Own the long-term technical direction of Roo's frontend platform, including systems, tooling, and architecture powering development across web and mobile
  • Partner with Product and Design to evolve the design system as a foundational platform
  • Improve design-system adoption through integrations, documentation, tooling, and developer workflows
  • Lead framework upgrades, React Native modernization, Expo adoption, and shared library evolution
  • Own migration of legacy components to the v2 design system and provide migration tooling and documentation
  • Establish reusable patterns for quickly shipping pages and flows from the component library
  • Improve developer experience through shared tooling, automation, documentation, templates, and workflows
  • Identify and systematically eliminate friction points that slow engineers, designers, and AI agents down
Requirements
  • Significant experience building production software, including frontend systems
  • Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals with deep expertise in React and TypeScript
