We are seeking a Senior Engineer / Project Manager responsible for overseeing specific projects and assignments by either leading or participating as part of a team to provide designs for roadway and highway improvement projects. The Senior Engineer / Project Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction. The following skills will be required for this position:
  • Develop and analyze the project scope, organize the work on the project and set forth the procedures to be employed in accomplishing the project.
  • Use analytical and observation skills to set a project course or direction, which fulfills the vision and expectations of the client.
  • Oversee and coordinate with multiple teams both within the Organization and outside the Organization to ensure project milestones, objectives and expectations are met and satisfied.
  • Review, analyze and efficiently daily communications with clients and internal team members to ensure technical questions and critical priorities are addressed.
  • Meet with existing clients and prospective clients to effectively communicate, and gain knowledge of their project requirements.
  • Lead a team of junior engineers and CAD technicians to prepare project designs and construction documents.
  • Provide technical input and quality assurance.
  • Develop and monitor the project design / permitting schedule to meet client objectives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Professional engineer (PE) registered in the state of Florida (or if registered in another state, the ability to obtain registration in the state of Florida within 6 months)
  • 6-10 years of engineering experience.
  • Intermediate to Expert working knowledge of Microstation / Open Roads Designer, Adobe PDF and all other required software.
  • Significant experience in plans production and specification development.
  • Must be a detail oriented and driven professional with strong analytical skills, excellent written/verbal communications, interpersonal skills, and can work independently and in a team environment.
