You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solutions for the current project through cloud-hosted Java Microservices/Kafka streams and DataStage ETL jobs
  • Mentor and guide developers on the team
  • Hands-on work with deliverables of java services, cloud solutions, data pipelines, Kafka streaming and DataStage PX to implement solutions
  • Help create strategic direction for how to transform other components of the app using modern technologies (Kafka, services, SQL and NoSQL DB)
  • Help triage and fix issues with solution in Production
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks
  • Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • 8 years of experience developing software applications
  • 5 years of experience developing Java / J2EE, Web Services, Spring, and Hibernate
  • 3 years of professional experience administering Kubernetes environments
  • 3 years of experience developing solutions hosted within public cloud providers such as Azure/AWS, etc
  • 3 years of professional experience using SQL
  • 3 years of experience in CI/CD and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience with Kafka Producer, Kafka Consumer and Kafka Streams
  • Git, GitHub, GitHub actions, GitHub Pipelines
  • 2 years of experience with DataStage PX ETL development
  • Docker
  • XL Deploy
  • General CI/CD pipeline experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
