I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer / Developer to support ongoing activities for a cutomer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

  • Full-stack developer working on both front-end and back-end software
  • Developing automated tests (unit tests, service level tests, and end-to-end tests) to ensure high quality software is built into our continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Code on GPS systems
  • Direct experience with Architecture Evolution Plan
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional experience
  • Active Secret clearance to start
  • Must be a US Citizen; Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Development experience with any of the following programming languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, C#
  • Experience with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containers) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools

Desired skills:

  • Recent on-program experience as a technical software lead (e.g., architecture design, technical research, project management, define/enforce code quality standards, etc.)
  • Development experience with Linux and shell scripting (e.g., bash, ash, ksh)
  • Familiarity with the Space Domain
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional results
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
