About the Job
In this role, you will consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact. You will analyze and solve multifaceted engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of technical, operational, and compliance-related factors, including unprecedented or ambiguous conditions. You'll collaborate strategically with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant software solutions.
This position is a backfill contingent role with the potential to extend or convert based on business needs.
Responsibilities
  • Consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives with enterprise-wide impact.
  • Analyze and resolve multifaceted, long-term engineering challenges requiring evaluation of multiple technical and non-technical factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex issues by applying a solid understanding of software engineering practices, internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners and client personnel to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Support planning and execution of software engineering deliverables in alignment with organizational standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through a combination of work experience, consulting, education, training, or military experience.
  • Experience developing applications using Java and/or Python.
  • Experience working on complex or large-scale software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience consulting on or supporting enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess ambiguous or unprecedented technical challenges.
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Location & Work Model
  • Primary Location: Iselin, NJ (194 Wood Ave)
  • Alternate Location: Charlotte, NC (300 Brevard St)
  • Work Model: Hybrid
    • Charlotte, NC: 3 days per week in-office (mandatory)
    • Iselin, NJ: Currently 2 days per week in-office (mandatory, with fixed days rotating monthly; subject to policy changes)
