Description

Duties: Develop production-grade microservices, manage dependencies, and enable


distributed tracing. Lead DDD to transform monoliths into event-driven


microservices. Build RESTful APIs, implement circuit breakers, and produce


OpenAPI documentation. Design and optimize normalized schemas, execution plan


analysis, table partitioning, indexing; author SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures


for Terabyte-scale, high-concurrency enterprise databases. Architect


event-driven systems. Develop and maintain UIs, build reusable, responsive


components, and integrate frontends with backend microservices APIs. Plan and


execute migrations from monolith to microservices, create stored procedures and


RESTful APIs for migration, and write scripts to bulk-migrate records with data


validation and error handling. Build CI/CD and add automated testing, SonarQube


quality gates, security scanning, and blue-green deployments. Orchestrate


Kubernetes with HPA, resource quotas, Helm charts, and infrastructure-as-code to


lower deployment costs and MTTR. Implement observability, add distributed


tracing, and configure custom dashboards and alerts for proactive incident


management. Produce technical design artifacts, system architecture, sequence


activity, and data flow diagrams. Design database schemas and entity


relationships for enterprise applications.


Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer


Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 1


year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Systems Engineer,


or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's


degree in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field


of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer,


Systems Engineer, or related occupation.


Skills Required

This position requires 1 (one) year of experience with the


following: Utilizing back-end development to deliver enterprise apps processing


high-volume production transactions; Building enterprise workflow systems


supporting multi-stage business processes, stakeholder collaboration, compliance


controls, and integration with downstream systems; Conducting memory management


and GC tuning using Java 8+ including lambdas, Streams API, concurrent


programming; Developing Spring Boot applications; Implementing RESTful APIs, API


Gateway patterns, and distributed tracing using microservices with Spring Boot,


Spring Cloud, Spring Security; Authoring queries including multi-table joins,


subqueries, CTEs, and window functions using PL and SQL stored procedure SQL


technologies including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle; Designing and structuring


relational database schemas using normalization principles, keys, constraints,


and ERDs to ensure data integrity, eliminate redundancy, and optimize query


performance; Packaging applications into lightweight, portable Docker containers


using Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, and compose files, then managing images,


networking, and production configurations across registries and environments;


Orchestrating containerized workloads at scale using Kubernetes clusters,


kubectl commands, and Helm charts to deploy, configure, autoscale, and secure


distributed services across environments; Automating the full software delivery


lifecycle through Jenkins pipelines that build, test, and deploy code across


environments, while provisioning infrastructure- as-code with tools including


Jenkins and MJules; Performing version control using Git and Bitbucket;


Providing legacy system support during modernization using Documentum API. This


position requires any amount of experience with the following: Conducting


performance profiling and benchmarking, root cause analysis, and resolving


escalated production issues; Python scripting for automation and data


processing, including data validation and error handling; Building Micro


Frontend architectures with React, Node.js, and Webpack Module Federation;


Decomposing monoliths and implementing routing strategies including host-based,


shared, Memory Router, and event-driven for seamless inter-module navigation.
