AI/ML Platform Engineer Dulles, VA At REDLattice, we are a global leader in delivering cutting-edge technical cybersecurity products and services. We are driven by mission-critical and innovative work that directly contributes to protecting our nation's and strategic partners' most vital infrastructure. Our teams lead advanced vulnerability analysis and develop tailored cyber solutions to meet the demands of rapidly evolving mission space. With offices in Northern Virginia, Melbourne, Florida, Tel Aviv, Israel, and other strategic locations, REDLattice is growing rapidly to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Position Overview: REDLattice is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to help build and maintain secure, offline AI capabilities that support advanced cyber operations. In this role, you'll evaluate, deploy, and operationalize cutting-edge large language models (LLMs) in air-gapped environments, enabling development and vulnerability research teams to leverage AI effectively and securely. This position focuses on AI platform engineering and infrastructure, not model training or AI research. You'll be responsible for creating the systems, interfaces, and workflows that make AI accessible and useful across mission teams. Responsibilities: * Evaluate emerging large language models (LLMs) for mission applicability, including open-source and commercially available models. * Deploy, configure, and maintain offline/air-gapped LLM environments. * Build and maintain AI platforms that provide secure, reliable access to LLM capabilities. * Develop harnesses, APIs, and user interfaces that enable engineers and researchers to leverage AI within secure environments. * Integrate LLMs into development and vulnerability research (VR) workflows to improve productivity and mission effectiveness. * Assess infrastructure, compute, storage, and networking requirements needed to support AI deployments. * Monitor, maintain, and optimize AI platform performance, reliability, and scalability. * Collaborate with software developers, vulnerability researchers, reverse engineers, and cyber operators to identify opportunities for AI integration. * Stay current with advances in foundation models and recommend new capabilities as the AI landscape evolves. Required Qualifications: * Experience deploying and managing large language models (LLMs) in self-hosted or offline environments. * Experience supporting cybersecurity, vulnerability research (VR), reverse engineering, or cyber operations. * Experience with one or more current LLMs such as Opus, Sonnet, MiniMax, Qwen, or similar. * Experience building APIs, tooling, or interfaces that integrate AI capabilities into existing applications or workflows. * Strong troubleshooting and systems integration skills. * Active TS/SCI clearance with current or ability to obtain polygraph. What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. * 401(k) with company contribution. * Professional development and training opportunities. * Exposure to mission-critical programs supporting national security and law enforcement operations. Why Join REDLattice? * Work on mission-driven programs supporting Federal Law Enforcement and national security missions. * Join a passionate team focused on solving complex operational and mission challenges. * Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. * Opportunities for career growth and leadership development. * Be part of a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Equal Employment Opportunity Statement REDLattice is an equal-opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, veteran status, disability, or any other protected status.
