Job Description
The Savings Team is responsible for building and maintaining digital savings experiences across web, iOS, Android, and Apex platforms. The team owns customer-facing capabilities that help customers discover, save, and engage with promotions while delivering a consistent omnichannel experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain native iOS components and experiences that drive key functionalities within the Kroger Ecommerce App, including navigation and informational features that guide and inform our customers, and user interfaces that empower customers to seamlessly explore and shop our digital experiences.
Identify and uphold iOS engineering best practices across the ecommerce codebase.
Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on the design and implementation of the product.
Work with Backend Engineers to build and ship customer-facing features.
Contribute to the team's software development efforts by writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Monitor app performance, watch for traffic drops related to usability problems, and rectify issues quickly.
Review app and feature code, and help plan future app upgrades with the development team.
Implement responsive and accessible design principles so the app renders well across the range of supported devices.
Champion strong communication practices across Product, Design, and QA.
  • Stay up to date on emerging iOS technologies and bring improvements back to the team.
