Job description

Do you want to work for a top Aerospace and Defense company to help protect this nation? Do you have an Active Secret Clearance? Would you like the possibility of going from a contractor to a full-time permanent position? GeoLogics is looking for an Software Engineer for our top Aerospace and Defense client in Tucson, Arizona.

Role: Software Engineer

Client: top Aerospace and Defense company

Location: Tucson, Arizona

Education: Bachelors in STEM

Rate: OPEN (W2 contract with limited benefits, No PTO - ever hour worked is an hour paid)

Job Description

This onsite Tucson focuses on developing and integrating software for factory test systems used in weapon system production. The engineer creates applications, libraries and instrument drivers while troubleshooting issues and working closely with cross-functional teams. The work directly supports reliable, production-ready test capabilities.

Required Skills

  • Experience developing object-oriented software in C# and/or C++.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues and test instrumentation in an engineering environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting full-lifecycle software development for test systems or production environments.
  • Familiarity with automated test equipment, instrument drivers, or hardware-software integration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to process-heavy workflows.
