Job description

Metacomp Technologies develops advanced multi-physics simulation software for engineering applications. Our products encompass computational fluid dynamics (CFD), aeroacoustics, computational structural mechanics, fluid-structure interaction, geometry handling, and mesh generation. We are seeking a software engineer to join our team.

The initial focus of this position will be the development and support of our Python-based user interface framework. Over time, engineers are encouraged to contribute to other areas of the software stack as project needs evolve.

Required qualifications


       Strong Python programming skills

       Experience developing graphical user interfaces

       Experience programming in C/C++

       Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development

       Ability to work effectively within a large existing codebase

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Preferred qualifications

       Experience with GUI frameworks

       Linux Bash and/or Windows batch scripting

       Experience with 3D graphics (OpenGL or similar APIs)

       Familiarity with scientific or engineering software
