Position Title: Software Engineer Lead

Position Location: 8250 Woodfield Crossing Blvd., Indianapolis, IN 46240

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

  • Lead and participate in the hands-on development of applications using the Microsoft stack (.Net, C#, SQL Server, Azure).

  • Drive the adoption of cloud and agile methodologies across the team.

  • Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

  • Actively contribute to software development, writing, testing, and optimizing code.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Balance development responsibilities with leadership duties.

  • Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring their professional growth and engagement.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

  • Facilitate effective time tracking, workload management, and resource planning.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear objectives and manage expectations.

  • Foster a culture of open, proactive communication and assertive problem-solving.

  • Utilize knowledge of Cloud technologies to deploy applications to public clouds like Azure.

  • Extensive experience in developing software applications using Object-Oriented languages like Java or C#.

  • Experience in using automation frameworks like Ansible, Terraform to install applications or deploy resources to servers automatically.

  • Extensive experience with Database Frameworks like (SQL, Oracle etc.) to store application data.

  • Experience in leading teams to develop software applications and deploy them to production environment.

Hybrid work with 3 days per week in office.
