The Technical Project Manager will be primarily responsible for the following:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage SDLC projects from inception through implementation.
  • Bridging needs from client requirements with solutions to meet the need.
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, with an inherent ability to work well under tight timelines and have strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Develop requirements, budgets, and schedules for the software development projects.
  • Facilitate requirements meetings, including the peer review sessions, and status meetings with clients and project team.
  • Establish milestones, anticipates issues, and monitors adherence to project scope, requirements and design documents, schedules, and to the software development process.
  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget, and that all deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Work closely with the Technical Project Management team to share best practices, help resolve project issues, and ensure that staff is properly allocated to tasks by considering staff's skills and interests, and the project's needs.
  • Maintain client relations and communications including status reporting and informal conversations.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of our teams through proper troubleshooting and prioritization methods as well as coordination and communication between the clients and the internal team.

What we are often looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field to the position and 2+ years of experience or Master's degree in a related field to the position or 1+ years of experience
  • Experience in applying best practices in software development lifecycle, including waterfall and Agile software methodologies, web-based infrastructure, and data-driven systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated aptitude to learn SQL are highly desired.
  • Proven ability to understand technical concepts, including data relationships and software configuration.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, strong team-oriented attitude, and a proactive and detail-oriented nature.
  • Familiarity with software such as Jira, Confluence, TeamCity, Git, Bitbucket, and Octopus is desired.
