Job Description

The Project Manager role supports a broad range of land development and public works initiatives, drawing on experience in site civil design, permitting, and project delivery. The position benefits from strong stormwater and hydrologic/hydraulic expertise to support cross-discipline projects, while remaining flexible in scope and not limited to stormwater-only practice. Occasional travel to client sites and regional offices may be required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas, or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 5-10 years of relevant land development engineering experience in the following areas:
  • Private-sector commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development
  • Preparing engineering reports, civil construction plans, and permitting submittals
  • Coordinating small to mid-sized design teams and managing client interactions
  • Providing land development engineering services in Texas
  • Supporting proposal preparation and fee development
  • Stormwater analysis, site drainage, and civil design standards
  • 3-6 years of project management experience
  • Proficiency with relevant software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and common hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Central Texas market experience, particularly the San Antonio and Austin regions
  • Familiarity with local and state permitting agencies and development regulations
  • Experience with proposal writing and client-facing presentations
  • Experience delivering private site development and public works projects, including street, drainage, and utility design, as stand-alone assignments or as part of multidisciplinary project teams
