What does a great Product Manager Do at Fiserv?


This position will lead the product strategy and delivery for Aggregation Services / AllData with a focus on API Integrations and Open Banking Data Sharing protocols, focusing on internal Fiserv opportunities for integration. The role will define requirements and drive product development activities, go-to-market strategies, and cross-functional alignment. The Product Manager in this role will collaborate heavily with internal stakeholders, customers, and customer-facing teams to ensure that our products adequately support the needs of our customers.

What will you do:

  • Lead cross functional and multi-discipline teams, to support and enhance existing products and create new capabilities
  • Research and define market needs and translate those needs into market and functional requirements for continuous agile delivery
  • Build rapport and relationships with clients and prospects and collect feedback to improve Fiserv's products and market position
  • Work with industry organizations to understand development of industry standards to ensure Fiserv alignment.
  • Define minimum viable product and balance trade-offs between time, effort, investment, and value dimensions
  • Collaborate with delivery teams including development, user experience, business analysts, and product owners to ensure that products meet the desired market need
  • Collaborate with multiple marketing and sales organizations across the enterprise to clearly communicate product benefits and competitive differentiation
  • Lead go-to-market activities to ensure that new products and features are successfully launched and supported across the organization.
  • Work with product leadership and finance to build the product business case and customer pricing
  • Lead through influence across a matrixed organization with disparate geographic team members
  • Monitor competitive offerings in the market and drives differentiated value proposition for Fiserv products

What you will need:

  • 5+ years experience in financial services + technology environment
  • 5 + years Project Management experience leading highly technical software projects across large cross-functional teams
  • REST API experience; understanding of Open Banking and data sharing infrastructure a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with cross-geography and/or international teams where high-levels of collaboration are required
  • Experience working with marketing and communication teams
  • High-level attention to detail and the ability to track and complete multiple workstreams and tasks at any one time
  • Financial experience with a background in making a business case for a particular project or product
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or related field

What would be great to have:

  • MBA or similar graduate degree
  • Product management experience in a financial services environment
  • Experience working with Financial Institutions and Fintechs

Salary Range

$100,000.00 - $165,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
