The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing construction projects from pre-construction planning through final completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and in alignment with company quality, safety and operational standards. What You'll Do

  • Lead construction projects from planning and budgeting through closeout and turnover.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and internal departments throughout all phases of construction.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts and construction documents.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address delays, risks and operational challenges.
  • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate quality, safety, progress and compliance with project standards.
  • Manage contractor performance and ensure work is completed according to approved scope and specifications.
  • Review bids, proposals, invoices, change orders and project-related expenses for accuracy and budget alignment.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including reports, schedules, meeting notes and permits.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal construction regulations, safety requirements and building codes.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to minimize disruption during renovations or active construction.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and provide regular status updates to executive leadership.
  • Support procurement and vendor selection processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors and external partners.
  • Assist with capital planning, forecasting and long-term facilities development initiatives.
  • Resolve construction-related issues in a timely, professional and cost-effective manner.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of construction project management experience required.
  • Experience managing commercial, hospitality, mixed-use or large-scale development projects preferred.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling and contractor oversight required.
  • PMP, CCM or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management methodologies and building systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, budgeting and time management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints and construction specifications.
