Job description

You will create and analyze software specifications, and research, design, document, modify, and support software throughout the development life cycle. You can demonstrate the functional and technical skills necessary to switch between development technologies and merge them to deliver the best solution. You have a proven ability to create quality software and participate in quality improvement efforts. You will provide solutions that create business value while at the same time minimizing negative impact through defects, downtime, or performance degradation.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate Micron core values People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration, and Customer Focus
  • Collecting requirements from customer requests
  • Designing, developing, debugging, documenting, testing, and deploying applications
  • Collaborating with other developers on the team
  • Working closely with Business Operation Teams, Product and Application Development teams, and other internal customers during application development and deployment
  • Training users on the use and maintenance of new applications
  • Implement 3rd party solutions and partner with the IT Procurement representative to determine contracts, support requirements, training provided, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on software development experience (C/C++/C#, MS SQL server, or similar)
  • RESTful web services using NodeJS, Apache, or C#
  • Microsoft .NET Framework
  • 2+ years' experience managing engineering teams
  • SQL and NoSQL database design and development
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Experience contributing to incident management and operational problem resolution.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with groups across different departments, sites, and geographies.
  • JavaScript, Angular and/or ReactJS, HTML5 and CSS
  • Client/Server, Web Services, Web development methodologies
