Job description

Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Project Manager role.  We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Land Development Project Manager to assist with our client's continued project workload. This role provides an opportunity to work in a small office with ties to the resources and projects as well as benefits of a much larger firm. There is great opportunity to work on unique projects with a local focus to make a difference, while performing site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
Candidates should have experience with site civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including AutoCAD - Civil 3D, ICPR/Storm-wise, Bentley software, Microsoft Office suite and others. 

Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3 or more years of land development engineering experience and relevant work, Central Florida preferred
  • High level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Proven ability to effectively and respectfully communicate, both oral and written skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously, great time management skills

Desired:
  • Experience with detailed site layout and grading; drainage and stormwater management design; utility design; and erosion and sediment control design
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation or Engineering Intern (E.I.) certification (preferred)
  • Experience with industry software (StormCAD, Hydroflow, ICPR) and development of hydrology studies
  • Experience with municipal, and utility codes and regulations
  • Proven ability and experience in interpreting plans, site geometric design, utilities design, site grading and permitting
