We’re searching for a PR intern to join our dynamic, hard-working team. This is an opportunity to cultivate career growth through real world experience in a modern PR practice. This is a paid, part-time internship with potential to evolve into a fulltime role.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working directly with PR leadership to produce best-in-class work that achieves results.
  • Creating and maintaining media lists and editorial calendars – experience working with Critical Mention or other PR/social media software is a plus.
  • Support drafting press releases and media pitches and assist with distribution to media outlets.
  • Collaborating on digital and print content development.
  • Tracking media hits and compiling coverage reports.
  • Researching industry trends to help determine relevant story angles.
  • Assist in developing and scheduling social media content for both clients and agency channels.
  • Compile social media performance reports.
  • Apply strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Administrative duties, as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Key Requirements Include:

  • Recent graduate or senior status student working towards a degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations.
  • Previous internship or entrepreneurial experience preferred.
  • Ability to take accountability for your work (both good and bad) and receive constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Ability to solve problems with critical thinking.
  • Organization, prioritization and attention to detail.
